The Hibbing High School library is an original feature of the historical high school. It was built in two rooms in which the first room was used as a study hall room originally. The library has since expanded so they use both rooms for books. The library is decorated with great, works of art. [1] They are statues of children playing. [2] Some were moved here from the old North Hibbing Schools and the Carnegie Library. In the back room on the west wall, hangs a sixty-foot mural name the Iron Industry. [3] It was painted 1913 for the Lincoln School in North Hibbing by David Tice Workman from Howard Lake, Minnesota. It was divided into three sections so it was easier to transport. The Hibbing High School Library is currently well run by Mrs.
